Several of Israel’s allies say they’re against Israeli forces launching an assault on the southern Gaza metropolis.

More than a million Palestinians have sought shelter in Rafah in southern Gaza, however there are rising fears that Israeli forces might launch an offensive on town.

Israel’s US and European allies say they’re opposed.

So will Israel push forward regardless? What could be the results?
