Usually bustling with guests from world wide this time of yr, Bethlehem is empty this Christmas.

Festivities are muted within the occupied West Bank as Israel exhibits no signal of ending its onslaught in Gaza.

Israeli bombs don’t discriminate. Everything and everybody within the strip is a goal: from hospitals to colleges, mosques to church buildings.

So what’s the significance of cancelling this yr’s festivities in Bethlehem?
