Occupied West Bank – As Israel’s warfare on Gaza grinds on, violence is spiking within the occupied West Bank as Israeli forces step up their raids on Palestinian cities and refugee camps and settlers improve their assaults and harassment of Palestinians.
The value in human lives ruined has been immense, with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs saying Israeli forces killed 30 Palestinians, together with seven youngsters, within the West Bank within the first 15 days of the 12 months.
Thousands of individuals have been arrested and brought into Israeli detention, many held underneath the “administrative detention” system, which Israeli authorities use to carry Palestinians indefinitely with no cost.
