Shoppers were forced to barricade inside shops after three people were allegedly assaulted by a group of machete-wielding teenagers.

Police swarmed the Bayside Shopping Centre at Frankston, south of Melbourne, about 10.50am Tuesday following reports a group of teenagers were inside with knives.
