Prince William and Princess Kate have wished their daughter Charlotte a happy tenth birthday, posting a picture of the young princess looking ready for adventure.
Princess Charlotte looked rosy-cheeked and ready to face the outdoors in a camouflaged jacked wearing a hiking backpack with her hair tied up in a ponytail.
“Happy 10th Birthday Princess Charlotte!” the photo was captioned and the photo credit was given to the Princess of Wales.
The comments on the picture were flooded by social media users, many referenced how mature and happy she looked.
“Princess Charlotte looking happy, healthy, and free spirited!” one person commented.
“Aw she looks so grown up! A beautiful photo taken by Catherine. Happy Birthday Princess Charlotte!” another wrote.
Others pointed out the uncanny resemblance the young princess has to her father, Prince William, at a similar age.

The 10-year-old has earned a reputation as being the boss of the family with royal historian Marlene Koenig telling US Weekly, Princess Kate herself said Princess Charlotte is “independent and the one in charge.”
During last year’s Trooping the Colour, the princess was seen correcting her younger brother.
According to reports from professional lip readers, when Prince Louis began dancing to the bagpipes, Charlotte leaned over and said, “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade.”
