A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in northern NSW.
Police were called on Friday night to a unit on Poinciana Street, Mullumbimby after reports of a domestic incident.
Police arrived after 11.55pm and inside the unit found the woman, believed to be in her 20s, dead.
She is yet to be formally identified, as police established a crime scene and commenced their investigations.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Byron Bay Police Station.
