Two collisions on major Perth roads have caused significant delays for commuters on Monday morning.
A crash on the westbound carriageway of South Street at Wheatley Drive in Leeming saw the right lane closed by the incident-response team, with heavy traffic expected on approach during peak times.
Emergency services and police took control of the scene, blocking the lane to allow for investigation and clean-up.
The lane has since reopened, but motorists heading west along South Street are being warned of significant slow-downs approaching Wheatley Drive and the surrounding intersection.
The incident is affecting traffic flow and commuters should expect delays or seek alternative routes if possible.
A crash on Kwinana Freeway heading northbound near Canning Highway has resulted in the right lane being shut to traffic.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution as people are outside of their vehicles.
Traffic remains heavy back past South Street, and motorists are advised to expect delays.
