New York prosecutors mentioned Thursday they’re opening an investigation right into a wi-fi community outage earlier this month that left 1000’s of AT&T clients throughout the U.S. with out cellphone service for roughly 12 hours.

AT&T apologized this week for the community disruption and provided a $5 credit score to clients. The credit score will robotically be utilized to their accounts, however AT&T Business, AT&T Prepaid and Cricket clients are ineligible for reimbursement.
