A male nurse has been charged with assaulting a grandmother in Royal Perth Hospital while a second hospital has apologised after she suffered two “avoidable” falls within 24 hours.

Marianne Molloy has been in and out of hospital this year across Perth after a complex diagnosis of non-alcoholic cirrhosis, which has resulted in her developing symptoms similar to dementia.
