A man and a woman have allegedly been stabbed during a home invasion in western Sydney.
About 11pm on Saturday, emergency services responded to reports of a home invasion in McCredie Road, Guildford West.
A 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were allegedly assaulted and stabbed multiple times inside their home.
A crime scene was established.
Police were told two men wearing face coverings forced entry through the front door of the home.

They believe the incident was a case of mistaken identity.
Three children aged under 10 were at home at the time, but were not injured.
The two men fled the scene when neighbours intervened.
“The men were seen to enter a white sedan parked out the front of the home that was driven by a third person south along Lomond Street,” NSW Police said.
The man and woman where taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
