Hezbollah dismisses Israeli declare that it has killed half of the group’s commanders in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army says it hit dozens of targets in southern Lebanon whereas the Lebabese armed group Hezbollah mentioned it fired dozens of rockets at an Israeli border village as combating continues to escalate.
The Israeli army mentioned the strikes within the space of Aita al-Shaab, about 3km (1.9 miles) contained in the Lebanese border, hit round 40 targets together with storage services and weapons in an space it mentioned was used extensively by Hezbollah forces.
“There is continuous offensive action by [Israeli military] forces in all of southern Lebanon as well as in other parts of Lebanon. The operational results are very impressive,” Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant mentioned in an announcement on Wednesday following an operational assembly on the army’s Northern Command.
Gallant mentioned half of Hezbollah’s commanders in southern Lebanon had been killed by Israeli forces, a declare rebuked by the Iran-backed group.
