The identity of an Albany woman accused of possessing more than $100,000 in dodgy money and illegally selling cigarettes has been revealed.

Vicky Anne Mconie faced Albany Magistrates Court for the first time on Thursday charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property and selling a tobacco product by retail sale without a license.

When reading the charge of possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property, Magistrate Erin O’Donnell said it related to $110,000 of Australian currency.

Both of the offences allegedly occurred between November 1, 2024, and May 16, 2025, in Centennial Park.

The 63-year-old was represented by Lucy Bourne and only spoke to confirm her name and that she understood the charges being read to her.

Ms Mconie will next appear in Albany Magistrates Court on July 3 for legal advice.
