A Florida man allegedly smothered his nephew’s meatball sandwich with eyedrop answer final week as a result of he “hated” him on that specific day, police stated.
James Leach, 45, has been charged with poisoning of meals or water in reference to the Wednesday incident, in response to a Pinellas Park police affidavit obtained by Fox Orlando.
Leach allegedly requested an worker at a enterprise for a bottle of eyedrop answer, saying he had dry eyes, police stated. Leach was an everyday buyer on the enterprise and was having points along with his nephew.

He allegedly advised the shop worker that he “hated” his nephew that day.
When he was handed the answer, Leach allegedly opened it and poured it on the nephew’s meatball sandwich.
“The witness stated that could hurt someone and (Leach) responded by saying that it would only cause (his nephew) to ‘s— himself and puke his brains out,’” the affidavit stated.
The nephew advised investigators he solely ate a small portion of the sandwich. He refused medical therapy when he discovered in regards to the alleged poisoning. Authorities stated Leach and his nephew have a “long history” of domestic-related incidents.
Leach is being held on a $50,000 bond within the Pinellas County jail, in response to jail information.
