The driver and passenger of a tow truck are in hospital following a serious crash in WA’s Great Southern.
A tow truck collided with a truck trailer shortly after 6pm Wednesday on Menang Drive in McKail, about 10km from Albany, triggering a major emergency response.
A man and woman, both aged in their 30s, were seriously injured and rushed by St John Ambulance to Albany Hospital under lights and sirens.
The woman arrived about 7.49pm and man 8.06pm.
The crash shut down Menang Drive between Albany Highway and South Coast Highway, with Main Roads WA urging motorists at the time to seek an alternative route.
