Police with long-arm firearms have been involved in a dramatic search of Crown casino on Sunday morning, following reports that a gun was pointed from a car towards another driver in Burswood.
Although no firearm was discovered, police offices found a cigarette lighter shaped like a handgun in the toilets of the casino food court after conducting a thorough search of the premises and reviewing CCTV vision.
The drama comes after police received a report at 10am alleging that a firearm was pointed from a white station sedan on Teddington Road towards another driver.
Several police units were then deployed to the area, and a vehicle matching the description was later seen entering the Crown Casino car park on Bolton Avenue.
