The Como Rotary Club is holding its 13th classic car show at Wesley College on September 29 with entertainment for kids, a sausage sizzle, pot luck raffle, market stalls and live jazz band entertainment.

About 200 cars will be on display, including a 60th anniversary Porsche 911 S/T owned by a Porsche Owners Western Australia club member.

Weighing less than 1400kg, it has a six-speed sports manual transmission with lightweight clutch, including single-mass flywheel, and special combination of the high-performance naturally aspirated engine of the 911 GT3 RS, developing 386kW (525PS).

Top speed is 300km/h and claimed 0-100km/h acceleration is 3.7 seconds.

A variety of community charities will take part in the day, with Como Rotary Club beneficiaries including Rotary mental health research and domestic violence support services.

Display car entry is free, with registrations at comorotary.org.
