American rapper Cardi B has had an unfortunate start to her Super Bowl festivities, ending up on the ground after a bizarre interaction outside her hotel.
The rapper was leaving the Intercontinental San Francisco hotel on Saturday when she went to greet a robot that was standing outside.
As Cardi walked out of the foyer, she saw the robot and warned others to “Get away from my man.”
She walked to the robot, wearing a black and yellow cat suit and some seriously impressive high-heels, before preparing to perform.
Cardi attempted to dance with the robot before balance was lost and the robot fell on top of her.
The moment startled the rapper, who ended up falling backwards on the hard tile flooring.
Some online suggested the robot launched at the rapper, while others were certain that Cardi was actually to blame for the robot falling down.
Onlookers quickly jumped in to assist the rapper, as many around the iconic performer laughed at the unusual situation.
It appears Cardi was okay, getting up off the ground with some assistance.
The rapper was to quick to get back on her way, headed to the Fanatics Super Bowl Party at Pier 48.
