Almeria’s document winless run has hit 30 video games after a late aim from Oscar Mingueza gave fellow relegation candidates Celta Vigo a 1-0 win within the Spanish league.
Mingueza struck with an excellent low shot from round 30 metres out within the 72nd minute, seven minutes after Almeria’s Bruno Langa was issued a straight purple card for a foul on Jonathan Bamba.
The defeat left Almeria rooted to the underside of the desk. Their document up to now this season reads received none, drawn 9, misplaced 18.
“We are sad and hurting, that was a vital match,” Almeria midfielder Sergio Arribas mentioned.
“It was a final to get back on track and get out of relegation. Although (the situation) is very difficult, we are going to fight to the very end.”
The three factors have been important for Celta of their bid to keep away from the drop. The win lifted Rafael Benitez’s males one spot into sixteenth, six factors above the relegation zone.
