BREAKINGBREAKING,
The earthquake struck late Friday night, with the epicentre 72 kilometres west of Marrekesh, a serious financial centre.
A robust 6.8 magnitude earthquake has shocked Morocco, sending pulses from Marrakesh to Rabat.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) estimates that the epicentre of the quake was roughly 72 kilometres (44 miles) from Marrakesh, the fourth largest metropolis within the nation.
No rapid stories of casualties had been out there. But movies and pictures shared on social media confirmed clouds of mud and piles of rubble, as partitions buckled underneath the pressure of the quake.
The earthquake befell shortly after 11pm native time (22:00 GMT), in keeping with the USGS.
