Motorists have been warned to plan ahead with a busy road in Perth’s south closing over the long weekend.
Canning Highway will be closed between Preston Point Road and Queen Victoria Street with no access to Stirling Highway — making way for major roadworks.
Main Roads announced the news on their social media, with the planned closure starting at 9pm Friday January 23 until 6am Tuesday January 27.
There will be detours in place but drivers are still being urged to plan ahead to avoid delays.
