While many dread Monday’s as it marks the weekend going and work coming, a WA punter has one million reasons to be excited.
Monday’s Millionaire Medley draw saw two players that were lucky enough to collect the revered $1 million division one win, with a player hailing from WA to create a new millionaire in the State.
Another WA punter pocketed a nifty win with the division two prize of $12,302.15 – being one of eight players to match the five numbers and a supplementary.
The winning numbers from draw #4617 were 14, 1, 26, 6, 44 and 11. The supps were 17 and 2.
With the win, WA has seen 70 players take out a division one prize in 2025, sharing in more than $162m in prizes.
The win comes after after a South West retiree cleaned up during the Saturday draw, winning $800,542.
“I was so excited I leapt out of my chair and was jumping for joy,” the retiree said.
“I couldn’t contain my excitement — and I had to call some close family to share the news immediately.”
