Liontown Resources chief executive Tony Ottaviano expects an incoming “wave of construction” on WA mining projects will send labour rates even higher across the industry as the company eyes the completion of Kathleen Valley.

Mr Ottaviano also said Liontown was in deep discussions with customers on securing further funding for the $895 million lithium project, north of Leinster. He said the talks included government policy banks and commercial banks, who were “extremely interested”.
