A teenager has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed in an upmarket inner city suburb during a suspected house party.

The boy, 15, is accused of attacking the 58-year-old at a large home in Clayfield, in Brisbane, on Thursday night.

When Queensland Police went to the house in the leafy, tree-lined street they found a large group of teenagers, as well as the body.

The man and boy were known to each other, police will allege.

The boy was charged with one count of domestic violence-related murder and refused police bail to appear in a children’s court on Friday.
