Bannister Downs Dairy has emerged as a standout at the 2026 Dairy Industry Association of Australia WA Dairy Awards, delivering an impressive haul of accolades.

The Northcliffe-based dairy took home four gold medals and six sliver, with its fresh cream stealing the spotlight and earning the coveted champion cream title at Claremont Football Club on April 10.

Bannister Downs Dairy managing director Sue Daubney said receiving champion recognition was a proud moment for the team.

“Producing fresh dairy products of the highest quality takes consistency, attention to detail, the utmost care for our animals and a genuine pride in what we do,” she said.

“Those qualities are reflected across our team each day, and it is incredibly rewarding to see them recognised in such a meaningful way.

“Being named champion in cream for our fresh cream is a fabulous achievement and one that reflects the quality of the products our team works so hard to create.”

Ms Daubney said standing out in such categories among strong competition from across the State made the result even more special.

“Our sincere thanks go to the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (WA), together with the judges and volunteers who make the awards possible each year,” she said.

“Their contribution is an important part of recognising and encouraging quality across the WA dairy industry.”
