Timing is the key to help you more than double your time away from your job. Here’s how you can benefit from holidays like Australia Day and Easter as well as changing days off around the country.

You can turn four days of leave into a nine-day break over January 26 with some careful planning.

You can double your leave here, turning eight days of annual leave into a massive 16-day break.

June 8 is the King’s Birthday in the ACT, NSW, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria and four days can become nine off work by taking June 9-12 off.
October 5 is Labour Day in NSW, the ACT, and SA, and the King’s Birthday in Queensland.
By taking October 6-9 as annual leave, you can turn four days of leave into nine.
