A flare gun was fired at a house in Arlington, Virginia, throughout a police search Monday night, inflicting the dwelling to blow up.
Multiple police and fireplace items responded to the house within the 800 block of N Burlington after 8 p.m.
Arlington cops had been trying to execute a search warrant when the suspect discharged a number of rounds inside the house, inflicting an explosion.
Arlington County Police Department spokesperson Ashley Save instructed ARLnow: “The preliminary investigation indicates a suspect discharged a flare gun from his residence.”
The extent of accidents inside the house and the encompassing space stays unclear presently. Community members have been instructed to shelter in place, per D.C.’s FOX 5.
Police stated officers on scene reported “minor injuries with no one transported to the hospital.”
