Holland America Line has just opened bookings for its 2026-27 Australia, New Zealand and Asia cruises.
From September 2026 to April 2027, Westerdam and Noordam will sail in this region, based initially in Yeosu, South Korea.
Westerdam will sail Holland America Line’s 2026-27 Asia season, including the return of the popular 28-day Legendary Coral Triangle and Great Barrier Reef, which sails the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Australia on a round-trip from Singapore. It departs on January 3, 2027.
But more than half the season’s itineraries depart from Tokyo, including 13- and 14-day Circle Japan cruises and a 14-Day Japan and South Korea Discovery.
There are several 14-day Far East Discovery cruises between Hong Kong and Singapore, and a 14-day The Philippines, Taiwan and Japan cruise from Hong Kong.
There are also four Legendary Voyages — longer sailings with more time in destinations. They are each from 13 to 35 days and a spokesperson says they are designed to offer guests “an authentic and immersive experience”. Examples are the 35-day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation and the 14-day South Australia Discovery Holiday.
There are 14-day Australia and New Zealand itineraries between Auckland and Sydney, each calling at eight ports, and Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park. They sail between January and March 2027.
Alex Pikardt, Australia and New Zealand director of sales for Holland America Line, says: “The 35-Day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation offers one of our most immersive explorations of Australia. For those seeking a shorter trip, our popular 14-day Australia and New Zealand cruises are the perfect way to explore the region.”
